MATCHA litter is made from upcycled tofu and green tea fibres, waste from human food production that would have otherwise ended up in landfill.

It has been lab-tested for safety and safe for kittens.

Independently lab-tested to rule out any toxic contaminants or harmful chemicals. Each 4.7kg bag contains just 0.5% caffeine, so if your cat happens to nibble a pellet or two, it’s completely safe with virtually no trace exposure.

That’s why you can trust MATCHA Litter, developed by a Vet, backed by science, and safe enough for the cats we love most.

We do not recommend allowing any cat or kitten to ingest MATCHA Cat Litter. If this occurs or you have any concerns, please seek advice from your Veterinarian.

Absolutely. It’s low-dust, unscented, and soft underfoot. Our formula is lab-tested and free from harmful chemicals, even safe for curious kittens.

Technically yes, but we don't recommend flushing poo due to potential marine infection with Toxoplasmosis.

Compost the pee clumps and packaging, bin the rest.

MATCHA litter is made of green tea which contains Catechins, special natural compounds that help fight smells in a smart way.

Here’s how they work:

• 🫖 Catechins found in green tea are great at grabbing and locking away smelly stuff in your cat’s wee and poo.

• 💚 Plus, green tea naturally reduces bacteria and odour, while the tiny 1.5mm pellets of MATCHA-tofu soak up liquid super fast, keeping paws and trays dry, fresh, and clean, without any fake perfumes.

One 4.7kg bag was carefully selected to go the distance.

For a single cat, it can last up to 2 months.

In multi-cat homes, it typically fills 2–3 litter trays and lasts around 3–4 weeks, depending on how many trays you scoop and how often.

Just 2 minutes a day, that’s it!
No need to fully empty the litter tray every few days. With MATCHA litter, all you need to do is scoop out the clumps and poop daily, and you’re good to go.
